AUSTRALIAN RACING MOTORIST. Received September 21, 11.10 a.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 21. Driving through a blinding rainstorm near Mittagong, Stephen Ottoway, a well-known racing motorist, died suddenly at- the wheel. He was hurrying to catch a steamer for Launceston, where his mother is critically ill. His wife, who was accompanying him, had to wait with the dead man in the car for nearly an hour before a passing motorist arrived.
