NATIONAL DAFFODIL SHOW.
PALMERSTON NORTH HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
The citizens are reminded of the National Daffodil Show to be held in the entertainment hall at the Showgrounds. The show will be formally opened by Mr J. A. Nash, M.P., at 2.50 p.m. to-morrow afternoon and will be open in the evening from 7 p.m. On Thursday the doors will open from II a.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. Good entries have been received and there will be an excellent display of blooms. The public are requested to attend in large numbers to show appreciation of the efforts, of the local society in having the National Show staged in Palmerston North. The secretary will be at the hall at the Showgrounds this evening to receive entries.
