SERIOUS CHARGES.

AUCKLAND, Sept. 11. Helge Vigo Sorensen, aged 46, was further remanded to-day on the charge of attempting to murder Louisa Annie Thompson at Oneliunga on September 2.
John Hubert Edwards, aged 42, was also further remanded on the charge of murdering Christina Cunningham at Grey Lynn, on August 16.
