CLAIM FOR DAMAGES.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Sept. 11. Expressing the view that he had no doubt that the plaintiff was entitled to damages, the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, to-day awarded Mrs Eunice Dickson, the widowed mother of Ernest Joseph Dickson, £SO on her claim for £SOO against Frederick Hooker.
Dickson was one of four people killed when a car driven by Hooker went over a bank at Island Bay on April 1.
