INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL.
OPENING AT WANGANUI. •The new- intermediate school to be opened in the old Victoria Avenue School in Wanganui on February 1 will be the first to he established in the Wanganui Education Board’s district. It is to be called the V anganui Intermediate School. llie following have been appointed as the staff : —Headmaster : Mr E. H W. Rowntree, M.A.; assistants, Mr A. It. McLean, Miss O. M Cook, Mr A C. Barnes. Mr A. O. Edwards, M.A., Mr O. E. Johnston, Miss C. Duncan, Miss E E Paterson, M.A., Miss Z. u. Lloyd,'B. A., Miss M. Metliven, Miss F. A/ Stevens.
