. INTER-UNIVERSITY RELAY. LONDON, Dec. 3. In the inter-university relays, Cambridge won the 400 yards, the mile, the 480 yards high hurdles, and also the two miles in 7min. 58 2-ssec., equalling the record. Watt, the New Zealander, ran for Oxford. Oxford, including Davies, of Geelong, won the half-mile low hurdles in lmm. 43sec., establishing a record. The team also included Lovelock, the New Zealander, who ran in the four miles. Lovelock sat for an examination early in the morning and was flown to the course. He ran a great last lap, winning by sixty yards. Tlie half-mile was declared void owing to doubtful measurements after Cambridge had won.
