Roberts, Canterbury, has been awarded the Redpath Cup for best batting in first-class cricket for the 1931-32 season by the management committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council. MID-WEEK SERIES. Mid-week cricketers will enter upon competition play next Wednesday and the fixtures set down for the opening day are: —P.D.C. (m) v. Unemployed, No. 1 wicket, Sportsground; Combined Services (m) v. Optimists, No. 2 wickets, Sportsground. Play will commence at 1.45 p.m., con tinuing till 6.30. The P.D.C. and Combined Service foams will provide the playing material on Wednesday. TEAMS FOR TO-MORROW. The following will represent the Palmerston Club seniors against Old Boys at 1.45 p.m. to-morrow. —Seniors : Norris, Ongley, McVicar, Pegden, Ilollier, Kells, Mullins, Borquist, Robertson, Ingham, Nash, Leet, Smillie.
