TIMOR AND NEW GUINEA. (Times Cables.) Received October 13, 12.45 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 12. The Japanese Embassy emphatically denies that Japan contemplated purchasing portion of Timor or offered in the past to buy the Australian mandate’of New Guinea.
