GO-SLOW POLICY

Per Press Association. ASHBURTON, Oct. 11. Relief workers in Ashburton, by no means satisfied with the new conditions imposed by the Unemployment Board, to-day inaugurated a go-slow policy, Not all the workers are adhering to it, however. The decision to go slow was made at a largely-attended meeting of the men, only three voting against it. An official of the Now Zealand Workers’ Union stated that the go-slow proposal would bo discussed by his union on Monday, hut he did not think the union would assist the relief workers in this way.
