RONGOTEA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) RONGOTEA, Sept. 28. While assisting with the Arbor Day celebrations at Waitoi School grounds last Saturday, Mr Arthur Dear, of Taipo Road, had the misfortune to cut his foot very badly with an axe, severing- an artery and a vein. After receiving first aid treatment he was conveyed to Palmerston North and had several stitches inserted in tho wound. Mr Dear is home again, but will bo unable to resumo his usual activities for some weeks.
