MR STEWART INENGLAND

DECLINES TO DISCUSS MISSION

LENGTH OF STAY UNCERTAIN

(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received September 15, 10.50 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 14. Hon. W. Downie Stewart, Minister of Finance in the New Zealand Cabinet, has arrived in England. In an interview Mr Stewart said the length of his stay here was uncertain. He declined to discuss the financial mission.

Prominent New Zealanders and Australians, including Sir Thomas AVilford, Sir Charles lioldsworth, and Rt. Hon. S. M. Bruce, as well as representatives of the New Zealand Produce Boards and the Dominion’s Office, welcomed the party. Mr Stewart is in normal health and stood the voyage well.
