BRIEF TERM OF OFFICE.
ACTING-PRESIDENT OF CHILE.
Received September 15, 8.35 a.m. SANTIAGO (Chile), Sept. 14. General Bartolome Blanche, who was installed yesterday as acting-Pre-sident of Chile, submitted his resignation to-day.
A cablegram from Santiago, published yesterday, stated that the provisional President, Senor Carlos Da Vila, resigned after the army and enforce revolted, threatening to bomb the presidential palace unless ho surrendered office.
