Duleepsinhji has been X-rayed and the decision whether he will go to Australia deponds on the result. It is reported that Tyldesley has been asked whether he is preimred to go to Australia if invited. Tyldesley has had a splendid season, scoring 2278 runs, his average being 61. MATCH POSTPONED. Received August 27, 12.40 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 26. The match between the Marylebone team for Australia and the Rest of England has been postponed to September 7.

Hammond mado tho highest score of his career in first-class cricket to-day, when he made 264 for Gloucestershire, whoso first innings against Lancashire yielded 514. TOURING AUSTRALIANS. LOS ANGELES, Aug. 25. The Australian cricketers defeated the Hollywood Cricket Club by 209 runs for five wickets to 99 for seventeen. Bradman scored 48, McCabe 66 and Kippax 64. The Hollywood team included former British players in the movies—Boris Karloff, H. B. Warner, Desmond Roberts, Murray Kinnell, Claudo King, and Caubery Smith.
