I MONTHLY MEETING. ffThe monthly meeting of the Slugjish River Drainage Board was held p-day, Mr F. J. Foster presiding, flso present were Messrs Ryan, Print, ttorcom and Lancaster, j The overseer, Mr AV. Locke, stated p his report that work was being coninued in No. 3 portion of the Main )rain, with the deepening up to date f 24 chains' being completed. No. 1 lortion was finished and No. 2 and ifo. 3 portions were making good process. The concrete sills by the Tai[orea bridge were finished. No. 1 iortion of Taikorea Drain, No. 2 porlon of Cooper and Greenaway’s and jo. 2 Drains 'were completed. The Srerage daily number of No. 5 scheme |en employed last week was 75. There las every likelihood that the Main )rain work would be finished by the fext board meeting.—Adopted. |lt was. decided to peg the Main )rain, No. 2 Drain and part of Coopr and Greenaway’s Drain.
