(From Our Own Correspondent.) SHANNON, April 20.
At the annual meeting of the Shannon Girls’ Club the following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Mrs W. H. McKenzie; vice-president, Mrs Parcell; secretary, D. Davis; treasurer,' Grotchon Tippler; committee, M. Brady, E. Quarrie, V. Quarrio, L. Wilkinson, D. Ingley, J. Ingley. A vote of thanks was accorded the retiring secretary, Dulcio Small. Mis 3 Brady. a former president, congratulated Mrs McKonzio on the success she is making of the club, Mrs Parcell endorsing the remarks and expressing gratification in the fact that she would be able to continue as president during the coming year.
