BAINESSE.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) BAINESSE., April 18. Another very enjoyable surprise party visited the residence of Mr and Mrs J. R. Baker during the week-end. Between twenty and thirty wero present and passed the time in games, competitions, etc. During the evening Mr H. Bond extended best wishes from all present and thanks for the cordial hospitality of Mr and Mrs Baker, to which Mr Baker suitably replied. ’A dainty supper was handed round by the visitors, and “Auld Lang Syne” brought a very pleasant function to a close.
