MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.
Received December 3, 9.25 a.m. SYDNEY, Dee. 3. The Government, by proclamation, has postponed the municipal elections for the county of Cumberland from next Saturday until January 2. The Local Government Association obtained the opinion of a leading counsel, who adivsed that the proclamation *was valid and could not be upset.
