WRESTLING AT BLENHEIM
Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, Aug. 19. A large audience to-night witnessed the the first professional wrestling bout in Blenheim between Limutkin, 13st 81bs, and Kara Pasha, 12st 21bs. The first round was even, both men showing a variety of holds. In the second round the Turk was thrown three times with headlocks, but Kara evened up in good mat work. In the third round, after somo struggling, Limutkin applied a crucifix, but Kara broke away, applying a short-arm bar. The fourth round opened with fast work and a lot of toeholds were applied. After going seven minutes Kara clapped on his famous Boston crab, getting a submission fall. Limutkin then announced that his thumb, which was injured, at Westport, was again put out, and that he was unable to continue.
