(From Our Own Correspondent.) CARNARVON, Aug. 18. The wind-up night of tho Cribbage Club was held in the hall on Thursday when there was a very fair attendance of players. Progressive cribbago was played and at tho finish it was found that Miss P. Frecklington and Mr A. 1- lorenco had tied with Mr and Mrs P. Scott, with nino games. In the play-off Mr and Mrs Scott were successful. Tho points prizo for tho season’s play in tho weekly competitions was won by Mr Robert Florence with 36 games.

The final game in tlio ladies’ hockey competition was played on the Carnarvon ground when tho local team defeated Hinekca by ono goal to nil. Tho Carnarvon team played, in the Saturday competitions, 12 games, of which they won 8, drew 2 and lost 2, finishing up with 18. points, 3 points behind the winners, Hinekoa. The men’s team played Wanderers at Feilding and wcro defeated by ono goal to nil.
