ATTEMPTED INCENDIARISM.
OUTBREAK IN NAPIER CHURCH.

NAPIER, Jan. 3. A despicable attempt to destroy St. Patrick’s Church was perpetrated - in the early hours of this morning. The outbreak started under a side door, where liquid had been placed. A hole was burnt in the floor, and the sides of the porch were scorched. The total damage amounted to about £25.
An attempt was made to set fire to the Convent School at Hastings this week.
