BOXING.
SARIION AND DONOVAN. NEGOTIATIONS ON FOOT. The Manawatu Boxing Association has for two months been endeavouring to match Tommy Donovan for a bout in Palmerston North. Since the Johnnie Leckie-Pctc Sarron fight, Sarron lias been mentioned as the most likely opponent, but though numerous requests have been made by _ tho association, as yet nothing definite has been received from Donovan. Sarron has stated his willingness to meet Donovan.
