Won by a length. Time, 1.17 2-5. WANGANUI TRACK NOTES. . Per Press Association. WANGANUI, May 14. Callanmoro was scratched for the Borough Handicap at 11.45 a.m. today, Leitrim at 12.10 p.m. Birkbeck was scratched at 10.30 a.m. for the Wanganui Steeplechase. The weather was fine for tho final gallops this morning. Balstreet and Crown Link ran five furlongs together in 1.6. Cuticle and Admiral Drake covered four furlongs in 49 2-ssec. Cashier easily held High Falutin’ over four furlongs in 49 3-ssec. Bernera covered throe furlongs in 3Ssec. Auctioneer beat Royal Tractor over half a mile in 50 2-ssec. Laughing Prince beat Equitant over three furlongs in 37 2-ssec. Mountain Heath ran six furlongs in 1.16. Flying Juliet was in front of Ben Hur at tho end of five furlongs in 1.4. Tahorna was a length from Moa Bird at the end of six furlongs in 1.17 1-5. Kililgrew finished in front of Elicit, Air Force and Perle de Leon in a six furlongs’ spin in 1.18 2-5. Mister Gamp and Skyrider were schooled over the hurdles, both jumping well. Town Bird also jumped hurdles well.
