STRUCK BY CAR
AUCKLAND MAN KILLED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 13. A fatal accident occurred in Khyber Pass Road to-night. A man named Arthur Reginald Sloman, a resident of Khyber Pass, was struck by a motor-car as he stepped off the kerb to cross the road, and was killed instantaneously. The car was driven by John Fleming, of Grafton Road. Mr Sloman was thrown heavily to the concrete, receiving head injuries and a broken leg, while his neck also appeared to be broken. Deoeased, who was a gardener by occupation, was aged 65. Ho leaves a wife and three children.
