LION TAMER’S DEATH.
MR JAMES LINDO. Mr James Lindo, a lion-tamer at Wirth’s circus, was found dead in his room at an hotel in Campbell Street, Sydney, on April 28, shortly after the programme. The Central Ambulance took the body to Sydney Hospital. Mr Lindo, who was well-known in Australia and New Zealand, had many hairbreadth escapes during his circus career, which had extended over many years.
