BURDEN OF TAXATION. Lord Harris, who is one of the bestknown figures in the cricketing world, and who was Governor of Bombay in 1890-95, and A:D.C. to ’ King Edward and King George, is the latest member of the British aristocracy to endeavour to overcome the taxation burden by transforming himself into a private unlimited company. The purpose of the concern, which will be called the Belmont Estate Company, is to acquire a life interest in Lord Harris’s estate in Kent and other property, and to carry on fanning grazing and market gardening. The capital of the company will be £IO,OOO.
