SjLa.llworthy said that it was remarkable that the poor waifs of London were reported as having better teeth than the average New Zealand children. It appeared that the parents of this country were spoiling their children by mistaken kindness. School dental clinics alone could not solve the problem. Dietitic values needed to bo considered and the present gap between the well-nourished Plunkct baby and a child of five years entering school in .a shocking dental condition required to be tilled by the inculcation of better principles of health-building.
