MOTORIST CHARGED.
COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, May 10. Reginald Cecil Waite Taylor, an insurance agent, of Auckland, was charged in the Huntly Police Court yesterday with negligent .and reckless driving, and with doing bodily injury to Mrs Margaret Francis Armstrong and her daughters, Greta and Jean. Tho latter was walking along the road near Taimihia Cemetery on tho evening of January 24 and was run down by a car driven by Taylor. Mrs Armstrong suffered a fracture of the leg, and her daughter, Greta, a fracture of the skull and thigh, while Jean, aged 11, was badly affected by Defendant was committed tto the Supremo Court for trial. Bail wa3 allowed.
