WOOL SALES
LONDON SERIES. FIRM MARKET. LATE RATES MAINTAINED. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received April 9, 11.50 a.m. LONDON, April 8. At the wool sales to-day, 4994 bales were offered, including 839 from New Zealand and approximately 4090 were sold. There was a fair selection of greasy Merinos and a limited offering of greasy crossbreds. The market was firm at late rates, which were fully maintained.
