FARMERS’ FIELD DAY.
AT MASSEY COLLEGE. Approximately 300 farmers gathered at the Massey College grounds this morning when a field day, organised by the Manawatu branch of the Dairy Farmers’ Union, was held. Lectures were given by officers of the Department of Agriculture, dealing with general grassland management. An inspection was made of the model dairy factory and especially keen interest was taken in the various demonstrations.
