YOUNG WOMAN INJURED.
FOUND LYING ON ROAD. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH. April-10. A young woman, aged about 18 years, was found lying at the corner of Barbadoes Street and Brougham Street, Sydenham, at seven o’clock last evening. She was riding a bicycle, when' she was suddenly heard to scream, and then fall to the road. She was taken to the hospital, but her condition is not serious. Subsequently another girl reported that she had been attacked. in Brougham Street while riding a bicycle by a man, who made off when she screamed. The police are inquiring in connection with both cases.
