CHINESE WAR.
CAPTURE OF CHANG DESIRED. BIG REWARD OFFERED. (Australian Press Association.—United Service.) Received March 30, 9.5 a.m. SHANGHAI. March 29. The Shantung Provincial Government have offered 100,000 dollars for the capture alive of Chang Chung Chang, formerly Military Governor of Shantung. Chang’s troops on Tuesday captured Chefoo -and extorted a quarter of a million dollars in return for not looting the town. Fifty thousand dollars have been offered for the ex-Governor’ s head. JAPANESE TROOPS. LEAVING SHANGTUNG. (Australian Press Association.) TOKIO, March 29. , Following tire signature of the Tsinan agreement, the immediate .evacuation of the-Sliangtung troops has been ordered, and will be completed by May.
