LOYAL MANAWATU LODGE.

VISIT TO FEILDING. Last evening, representatives of Loyal Manawatu Lodge, M.U.1.0.0.F. visited the Feilding lodge on the occasion of the installation of officers. There was a very large gathering, representatives of tho order being present from Apiti, Rangi.vahia, Marton, Bulls, Manawatu and Dannevirke, including Deputy Grand Master (New Zealand) Bro. Quigley (Dannevirke) and D.P.G.M. Bro. ' T. Bruce (Manawatu). The following were the officers installed;—N.G., Bro. Churcher, V.G.. Sister Fidlor, 1.P.N.N., Bro. Olliver; E.S., Bro. Fidlor. An interesting address on the work of the New Zealand branch of the society was given by Bro. Quig ley, while Bro. Bruce spoke on the biennial movable conference hold at Hastings, whero he lrad represented tho Wanganui district. Both speakers had an attentive hearing and were accorded a hearty vote of thahks. A dainty supper prepared by the ladies concluded a pleasant evening.

OROUA LODGE. The uslual fortnrifjhtly meeting of Oroua No. 5 Lodge of Druids was held on Tuesday evening, A.D., Bro. Lownds presiding. It having previously been decided to hold a social evening on this night, the lodge commenced early One now candidate was initiated, Bro. Elsmore acting as master of ceremonies. Visitors were welcomed from Acorn, Makino and Lind Lodges. Members were pleased to see that, since the admittance of women into local lodges, increasing numbers of female members have joined, there now being about twenty. G.V.P. Bro. F. Jackson reported on having visited Mackay Lodge, Taihape, and on the occasion of his visit it was decided to admit female members to that lodge. From 8.15 p.m. a social evening was held, taking the form of cards, dancing and ping-pong. A dainty supper rounded off a happy meeting.
