NEW APPOINTMENT.
(Australian Press Association.—United Service/) Received August 1, 12.35 p.m. LONDON, July 31. Owing to Archbishop Lang’s translation to the Archbishopric of Canterbnry, tho King has appointed Rt. Rev. W. Temple, Bishop of Manchester, to the Archbishopric of York.
