“SAFETY FIRST” AT SEA,

The aviation correspondent of the Sunday Chronicle describes a new device, whereby, it is claimed, tlie transAtlantic flying tragedies can be eliminated. . It consists of vulcanised canvas bags attached to tho fuselage, each connected by a metal pipe, with a steel bottle of compressed air, with which the bags can bo quickly filled, thus causing the machine to float indefinitely.
