MEN IN SUNKEN S 4.
BOSTON, Jan. 15. Investigations have demonstrated that the men in the submarine S 4, which was rammed and sunk off Cape Cod, lived for 74 hours after the accident. The men tapped messages on the shell of the submarine to the divers who went down. Rescue attempts had to bo abandoned, owing to tho storm.
