TIAKITI-lUNA, Aug. 15.
Tho teacher reports thht the attendance at tho school has been low for the past week on account of several children sulforing from various forms of sickness. Mrs L. Parkor mot with a painful accident on Friday afternoon wnil6t driving to Palmerston North. Tho horse slipped on tho paved surface precipitating Mrs Parker Out on to tho road. Suffering painful faco abrasions and other injuries, she managed to drive to hor home. Mr and Mrs Bindon have been spending the week-end with Mr and Mrs N. P. Nielson.
