NEW ZEALAND SUPPLIES. QUALITY UNSURPASSED. TRADE DESIRES FREE MARKET. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received April 23, 10.30 a.m. LONDON, April 22. Mr W. I. lorns and Mr W. C. Motion, members of the 'New Zealand Produce Board, sailed in the Corinthic for New Zealand.
Mr lorns, in a statement, said he was convinced that the quality of New Zealand dairy produce was unsurpassed. “Once we surmount the existing temporary difficulties we shall regain the premier position in Britain’s markets. This will be completely reestablished when 'the traders realise, that the New Zealand producers never desired to exploit- the consumers. Already the importers are whole-heartedly co-operating to regain the “position, for which'they are entitled to the thanks of the producers. So long as the trade is assured of a free market it will cooperate with the board for the industry’s benefit.”—A. and N,Z. cable.
