BURGLARS AT GISBORNE.
QUANTITY OF MERCERY TAKEN

GISBORNE, April 7. The police have been advised that a burglary bearing all the indications of participation by experienced thieves was committed last night at the premises of the Common, Shelton Company, the burglars escaping with mercery valued at more than £BO. An entrance was gained by a route that could be known only to someone acquainted with the building, four doors being forced, and the intruders carried out the raid with close attention to detail, takinfe goods of only certain sizes.
