LONDON TO LOSE TRAMS.
COMPETITION OF BUSES. LONDON, Dec. 19. The Metropolitan Electric Tramways, Ltd., have caused a sensation in North London by refusing to renew in 1930 the lease of 23 tram routes serving 100,000,000 passengers a year. This decision . has been arrived at owing to the motor bus competition.
