FOOTBALL MISHAP.
PLAYER BREAKS A LEG. During the progress of the first spell in the Rugby match between Manawatu thirds and the Te Kawau junior representatives at the Showgrounds on Saturday afternoon, George Cooksley, a member of the former fifteen, sustained a broken Jeg in a collision with an opponent. Medical attention was rendered the unfortunate man before his removal to the hospital. Cooksley is a young married man who resides at Longburn.
