THE THIRD ROUND. LONDON, Juno 25. In the third round of the open golf championship tho leading scores are as follow: A 1 Watrous 69 (total 215); Bobby Jones 73 (total 217); Taylor 71 (tofal 224); Jurada 74 (total 227); Charles Whitcombo 75 (total 232); Howard 76 (total 234). Compston was disqualified for insisting on playing all shots lying out of bounds. —A. and N.Z. cable. BOBBY JONES WINS. Received June 26; 11.5 a.m. LONDON, June 25. The open golf championship was concluded under ideal conditions and was won by Bobby Jones with an aggregate score of 291. Other scores were: Watrous 293, Jurado and Melhorn 363, Taylor 304, C. A. Whitcombo 310, Howard 316. Additional scores in the third round were: Mitchell, 72, aggregate 228; Hagon, 74, 219; Ray, 74, 233; Baird, 75, 232; McLeod, 76, 222; Vonelm, 76, 223; Armour, 75, 225; Herd, 75, 232; Kirkwood, 78, 240; Gadd, 78, 229; Melhorn, 79, 223; Duncan, 80, 234; Havers, 82, 233. —A. and N.Z. cable.
