BRISBANE, Juno 11. The body of Louise Bade, aged 18, was fo\n:d on tho Ipswich-Rose wood road ytsterday in circumstances that suggest foul play. She . had . viciously inflicted deep wounds on the back of the head, and over one eye. She lay faco downwards on a little sandy track surrounded on aIL sides by. thick bush. She was dressed in ordinary working clothes, without stockings, though wearing shoes. She did not wear a hat,-but in her hand . was clutched a little woollen cap. Broken pieces af bottle were found nearby,- but it was considered that they had nothing to do with the tragedy. The girl was bright and -spirited, well known, and well-liked in the district. When day broke to-day. detectives and a black-tracker discovered signs of a struggle about 20 feet away from where Louise Bado’s body was found on the side of the lonely road, about two miles east of the farming centre of Ebenezer, mile -miles from Ipswich. The Bade family lias resided at Ebenezer for many years. Blood stained leaves ,and twigs were found where-the-struggle had taken place. Otherwise 'there appears so far to be no clue.
