HOT MIX PLANT.
BRITISH TENDER ACCEPTED. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Juno 23. The Town Council accepted a British tender at £3580 against a New Zealand te'nder for £3825 for a hot mix plant. An amendment to accept the latter tender was defeated by eight votes to three. The Mayor (Mr Bain) said he was satisfied the plant would be a first-class one and could Be erected in time to commence work next season.
