NELSON TOURNAAIENT. Playing in the Nelson Easter tournament Snell, ltabone, lloore and Wallace (skip) finished up with four wins and five losses in section D. On Saturday tho rink mentioned beat Tobbell (Picton) 25—15, Carter (Nelson) 24 — 13 and lost to Stallard (Maitai) 12—16. On Monday tho rink lost to Roberts (Wellington) 23—35, Haldane (Waipukurau) G—2B and heat Goodwin (Thorn don) 14 —13. In section B. Duff (Eketahuna) finished up with six wins and three losses (two sevens got into the post-section play). On Saturday Duff beat G. Smith (Picton) 17—9, Vitetta (Nelson) 15—14 and lost to Hall (Carterton) 15—26. On Monday his rink went down to W. Smith (Nelson) 6—29 and to Alurson (New Brighton) 14—18, hut heat Stanford (Thorndon) 22—19. MATCH FOR “THE CUP.” “The Cup” changed hands again last evening, when, on tho Palmerston North Club’s green, Insurance (Wilson, Ennis, Radford and Trott, skip), the holders lost to Stock Agents (Bryan, Brown, Larcomb and Kerslakc, skip), being beaten by 20 to 12.
