CHINESE CAUSE TROUBLE

Received December 29, 11.45 a.m. SUVA, Dec. 29. H.M.S. Laburnum, which has arrived from Ocean Island, brings ten Chinese who were convicted of offences in connection with the recont trouble. They aro to serve sentences in the Suva gaol of six months and then bo repatriated. The situation on the island at present is satis 'actory. One Chinese has died.—A. and N.Z. cable.
