(By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received December 29, 11.15 a.m. TOKIO, DA:. 28. The Foreign Office has been adyised from Mukden that Chang’s son requested the Japanese Consul-General' to order the Consul at Hsinmin-fu to surrender the civil right of Kuo . and his wife and to allow them to take refuge in tho Consulate. The request was refused, but as it was understood that Chang intended executing them, arrangements were being made for Japanese police to esoort them to Mukden. . Though not officially confirmed the Government has reason to believe that Kuo’s and his wife’s heads have been exhibited publicly in Mukden and has expressed disgust at such barbarities. —Reuter.
