DESTROYED BY FIRE. OLD VALUABLE LOST. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received December 26, 10.40 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 25. Fire destroyed Hagley Hall, Worcestershire, the four centuries’ old seat of Viscount Cobham, who, accompanied by his family, members of the house party and servants, were forced to escape in their night attire. The losses include books, tapestries, pictures and statuary dating from the time of King Charles the First, also busts of ' Shakespeare, Milton, Dryden and Spenser.—Sydney Sun cable.
