SCHOOL CHILDREN STRIKE
MELBOURNE, Oct. 30. Only 90 children of 300 attended school at Altona to-day. The objective of the strike against the school, which was instituted by the parents yester,day, is to draw attention to tho lack of water in the district. The only water at the school is a dirty dribble from an . almost empty school tank. Youngsters have been seen drinking out of a horse trough nearby.
