FATAL BURNS.
MARRIED WOMAN’S DEATH. Per Press Association. WHAKATANE, Nov. 9. On Saturday afternoon Constable Clist, of Taneatua, received an urgent cull from Waimana and on arrival he found tiiat some kind of disturbance had taken place as a result of which Mrs Robert Collier had been removed to Opotiki Hospital, where she later died. Her husband stated that she got into a temper and started to burn things up. Her garments caught fire and "she was severely burned. Both the husband and wife are halfcastes and were only married recently. Eunlier inquiries are being made and the inquest willi be opened to-morrow.
