THE NEW RULER
WELCOMED TO OFFICE
Received November 7, 12.10 p.m. TEHERAN, Nov. 6. ' Riza Khan, attended an entertainment in celebration of the change of rulers and was accorded an ovation. He was welcomed by tho President of the Mejliss, who expressed the hope that Persia would make progress under his rule.
Riza Khan replied, hoping that with the help of tho Mejliss progress in economic judicial and educational matters would be achieved.—A. and N.Z. cable.
